I had a lot of fun doing this one…especially after I decided to incorporate an old photo of myself. And when I say old photo I mean OLD, at least 54 years old as a matter of fact! I’m wearing Cat Eye eyeglasses for pity’s sake 😀
(The photo is actually a copy of a photo of a photo.)

Please NOTE: If possession really is 9/10s of the law then the copyrights to the photo belong to me, even though my EX took the photo! The photo was taken in Washington, DC, just thought I’d throw that in 🙂
After I edited this photo of a photo…I titled it “what young and in love looks like” 🙂

and decay has long since begun

then edited within an inch of it’s life, so it could appear here 🙂
identifying with this tree is easy for me, as I live within this aging body of mine, watching as the bloom is off the rose 🙂

at my tax man’s office, this most interesting mirror 🙂
I’m enthralled by unusual mirrors, not to look in mind you, but just to enjoy their uniqueness 🙂
These days one of the many things I forget to do is look in the mirror before I go out of the house…just to make sure I’m neat and tidy and my hair is combed. How many times have I arrived at the grocery store or for a doctors appointment with toothpaste dribbled down my front…amazingly enough things like this no longer bother me 🙂
There was a time, years ago, before Don, when my self-confidence was so low that I was drawn to any and all mirrors like a moth to flame.
Was I pretty?
Would people like me?
OMGosh was that a ZIT on my face?
A speck on my blouse?
Did I really use to waste time like that…apparently so.
So now I look for unusual mirrors…so I can admire the mirror and not look for flaws in myself 🙂

then I’m absolutely ancient 🙂
without a moments hesitation, the old woman drawled,
“Don’t mess around with me mister or I’ll wack you with this here cane.”

I still have the wooden cane the VA gave Don and believe you me I wouldn’t hesitate a second to use it to defend myself 🙂
