A day to remind us of the horror that man is capable of inflicting on man.

Remembering the victims, the survivors and their families.

During WWII, my husband Don was with the 42nd Rainbow Division when they freed Dachau, I believe this more than anything brought home to me the ongoing tragedy of the holocaust.  Don suffered from PTSD from 1944 to 2009…the memories of things he saw never went away.

  1. Oh this gave me goosebumps. I hope his narrative history has been recorded and if not, that you might write it. It is so important that these personal histories not be lost.
